Some townships have additional restrictions on the type or amount of items a resident can bring, and some townships require mattresses to be wrapped in plastic prior to disposal. Hazardous waste, paint, and tires are not accepted at these events.
These events are funded entirely by the hosting township as a service to their residents. Several townships in Clermont County host clean-up events annually, also known as “junk days”, where residents can drop off furniture, debris, or other large items that are typically difficult to dispose of.
